It's Five O'Clock in the Morning

I don't know why I woke up so suddenly at 4:30 in the morning, but I've been unable to fall back asleep since then. So after laying in bed for thirty minutes, I said screw it and turned on the laptop. And as I logged into YouTube it kindly suggested this amazing new treasure in the form of a boy band that I had never heard of or knew existed.

Once again, my Twitter timeline has neglected to inform me of new badassery in the K-Pop scene (and yes, I just made up a word). I'm deeply upset by this because it has not given me the right amount of split-second time to call dibs on my new favorite of the month.

Whether or not N.Sonic is truly bad ass or just pretending to be is irrelevant. We all know groups have to earn their bad ass stripes in this business, and sometimes a single member can surpass his group mates and be the sole focus of my undying love and devotion until someone else with equal and/or slightly more bad ass value comes along to be my new little pet that likes to bite.

BUT CAN YOU GUESS WHO MY FAVORITE IS? HUH? HUH? CAN YA? CAN YA?

The choice is obvious if you know me. Black J -- which I have to say is the one of the most bad ass stage names shrouded in mystery I have ever heard -- has captivated me. And if you don't know who he is, he's the one with the tattoo in the video (or the one on the far right). HE SEALED THE TKPA DEAL WITH THE TATT, OKAY?? Don't judge me.

And of course, OF COURSE, he has to be the maknae. What is it lately with these young guys coming in and claiming my attention and precious blog space? If this is a sign that I am getting old, oh please make it stop.

AND HE'S A RAPPER. OH SWEET MOTHER OF THE K-POP GODS WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME.

The song "Super Boy" is really good for a debut song. Can they do better? Oh, yes, absolutely. It's nowhere near comparable to the half-boxing, half-puppy debut that Dalmatian had, but at the same time, in my highly biased opinion, it's still not even close to the likes of BEAST and MBLAQ's debuts. The overall style is really good, nothing atrocious to make us all go WTF?!

And N.Sonic scores some brownie points for going shirtless and dancing in the overhead sprinklers. I think someone must have been paying attention when I said FOREVER AGO that a fantastic and sure fire way to make a music video go from great to "oh-my-God-that-was-un-fucking-believable-oppa-have-my-babies" is flesh and water.

Check out the video that's apparently been around since October from a group that my readers and Twitter followers totally "neglected" to tell me about. I know what happened. You took one look at Black J and thought, "Rapper. Tattoo. Hot. Bad Ass Potential. MINE." I don't blame you, though ... I would have done the same.

Watch "Super Boy" by N.Sonic and get used to these rookies because I'm near obsession.

MLBAQ's Blood, Sweat, Tears, and Oozing Hotness

Hello my lovely readers and/or followers! Hope you all had fantastic Holidays and I hope your New Year was amazing and that you're enjoying 2012 thus far ... also known as the last year of our lives ... just kidding.

Only MBLAQ can make me come out of my relaxation state on my day off to sit in an uncomfy chair and spazz relentlessly about them. And it's been so long since a proper MBLAQ spazzing has taken place that I feel a tad bit rusty, so if at any point it turns into straight out incoherent statements, I trust that those who speak "fangirl/fanboy" can interpret it into logical thoughts.

I have come to the conclusion that Joon likes guns.

He likes big guns.

Blueprints of them, even, so he can disassemble and then reassemble at his pleasing.

He spends so much time with his guns that he watches any movie where guns are the focal point. He saw Wanted in theaters thirty-seven times, partly because he wanted to learn how to curve a bullet, but mostly because he liked the soothing sound of Morgan Freeman's voice. All that studying and popcorn inhaling came to good use once he learned how to curve that bullet, though.

He likes to hoard his guns in a junkyard so no one will find him, because who in their right mind voluntarily goes to a junkyard?

Except for Thunder, who lives there as a care-taker, which in my opinion has to be the worst job ever.

And he also sleeps in a van.

Going out on a limb here, but I'm pretty sure Thunder has a certain ... aroma of the not pleasant variety.

The awkward moment when the girl you were going to kill has fallen for the less hot, non-weapon-carrying so-called, backstabbing best friend you've entrusted to take care of the target, who, looking back on it now, you've should have just pulled the trigger.

The dramatic portion of the video is basically Joon is going to assassinate this girl. Why? Who the fuck knows? Maybe she is late on paying her Macy's credit card bill, and you know sometimes those bill collectors can be a little hasty. But then he sees someone else wants to kill her and it's like OH HALE NO, so he rescues her and then takes her to THE MIDDLE OF A JUNKYARD TO RECOVER AFTER BEING SHOT. Seriously, I could not think of a more sanitary place than a junkyard.

And then, he leaves to play with his guns, and upon returning, he realizes that the girl he was going to originally kill has fallen for Thunder. He gives major bitchface, more bitchy than Joon has ever given (bravo, bb, bravo!), and then pulls her outside. Thunder and Joon get into a fight, Joon pulls a gun out on them ... and then after this I get like ... huh?

Does Joon purposely try to kill himself by curving the bullet around them to come back like a boomerang? It really had to be that dramatic? And then when he dies, they pull out what I think are plane tickets ... so why couldn't you just say "HEY, BRO, I'm taking her away so she'll be safe!" Then you wouldn't have had to die and Thunder would be all "Cool, bro, call me when you land, and please resist the urge to kill her during your travels."

JOON'S DEATH WAS UNNECESSARY TO THE PLOT. IT COULD HAVE ENDED PEACEFULLY.

Also the girl choosing Thunder over Joon is completely unrealistic. I mean, why would you choose Thunder, someone who quite possibly smells and can only offer you the tallest compost pile on the lot, versus Joon, a sexy gun-toting bad ass who fell under your spell and wants to whisk you away for a thrilling life on the run? Yes, in reality I'm positive Thunder smells a heck of a lot better than Joon's unhygenic ass, but we are not talking about reality. We're talking about entertainment. And I want to see Joon not dead at the end of my music video watching experience.

Oh and you think this post is over ... but we still have three other members who weren't included in the dramatic plot. What's up with that? (I blame it on Rain being in the army).

Since I already talked so much about Thunder and Joon at the beginning of this post, all I will say is this:

Thunder looks so much more ... complete with eye-liner. Let's not push it to "I'll Be Back" proportions, but a little goes a long way.

I have never seen Joon more flawless in any video. Seriously, he is in the top five of the most gorgeous K-Pop idols.

I would say to check out their new video if you haven't yet, but who would I be kidding?

K-Pop 101 For Heart2Heart

Oh, this video. I could go on and on and on for hours about this video, about Heart2Heart. Seriously, hours. There is just so much to talk about and originally I did not plan on blogging about it, because they aren't Korean, they aren't K-Pop, and those are pretty much the only two requirements one needs to be featured here.

But this video is so much like a K-Pop video that I could not resist in breaking it down in parts, just like I do for every single male idol group's new video. It's more like constructive criticism mixed with praise and sometimes a severe scolding (but H2H is safe, no scolding today). And I only reiterate that, because they'll be reading this. (Scary, I know!)

Let me first start off with this so I can let the former teeny bopper inside of me out of my system ...

OMG LANCE FREAKING BASS. I worship the ground he walks on, no joke. Seriously, the video started, I saw Lance and I became so giddy and eleven-years-old again that I had to stop the video, open another tab, type in YouTube, and search through videos just to find this:

That intro music still gives me chills to this day. Oh, and it took me back to the days when I went to the *NSYNC concerts and went deaf from all the girls screaming, and it took me back to the days when I had a whole wall of posters and pictures of the guys, and when my friends and I would watch their concert DVDs literally all night long until six in the morning. The ten seconds of seeing Lance brought me back to my childhood and put me in teeny bopper mode.

Back to Heart2Heart ...

If we're really modeling ourselves after K-Pop here, then I'm going to be blunt and tell you the same damn things I write about them. Majority of them don't understand what I say, but there's no filtering just because you speak English. We don't play favorites here (have you read the awful things I've said about G-Dragon?).

So the video kicks off and it's some sort of West Philadelphia basketball court where Chad Future starts. And as he's doing his intro ... rap? ... all I can focus on is Pete's shirt, which is kind of like a horse of a different color, only as the camera gets closer, the stripes become wavy and distorted, big then small.

Why do so many stylists all over the globe make the mistake of using thin stripes or small checkered patterns? It never picks up well by the camera and it totally distracts from the artists or actors. It's everywhere, music videos, photoshoots (T.O.P wore a funky looking hat that did not photograph well for their comeback), even in television and movies here in the States. No more thin stripes, please! Chunky stripes are the way to go. So for your next video boys, please think of me when a stylist hands you a striped shirt and just say no.

Speaking of styling ... Chad, sweetie ... no.

You're good looking. You're hot. I know they probably want you to play that "bad boy" role in the group, because every boy band needs a bad boy. But that doesn't mean you need to look like a douche. It's like you're about to go for an audition on that lame MTV show where the parents choose their daughter's new boyfriend, and you're the current douche that eats all their food and doesn't flush the toilet when you're done.

You want the bad boy role, then dye your hair black, shape it into a faux hawk, slap on a tiny bit of eyeliner (no cat eyes, you're a dude, not a chick), get some abs, don't smile, walk around shirtless, and call it a day. The big key to that is don't smile.

They rarely smile. In videos, they're usually very stoic, even if it is an upbeat song. They can turn on the charm, but majority of the time you don't see those pearly whites. They're bad ass, not douchey. If that's the look you want, study them and learn what they do. They're the masters and you're the apprentice. But the multicolored hair, the star drawn on your face ... it's more "screamo" frontman than pop. You have to pick a look that somewhat suits the genre you're in.

I really do say that out of love, not bitchiness.

Pete, you're cute. And for some really strange reason, you remind me of Eli in this picture:

And I don't know why, because Eli doesn't really have those kind of abs, or a jaw ... so, yeah I don't know why I'm getting the Eli vibe from you, but it's a good thing because he's hot and one of my absolute favorites. Anyone that reminds me of a favorite usually doesn't have anything to worry about.

Is it just me, or did anyone else notice that Brayden was entirely not featured enough in this video? I think he had maybe thirty seconds of screen time total. Like it was this shot, and a few close-ups of him at the end and the beginning.

This is a new group, their first song and video, and majority of it you only see three members: Chad, KX, and Nico. Not that I'm complaining because ... well, I will get to that in a moment ... but every member should have had the chance to be featured the same amount of time. This is in no way Heart2Heart's fault, because they didn't edit the video. I would honestly like to see more of each of them and show off their personality and charm. Pete and Brayden weren't featured nearly as much as they should have been, and to start off a group like that will only keep it in that pattern.

Nico, you're so freaking adorable and I about cried last night when I found out you were seventeen. Seriously. There's a rule on this blog that I can't talk about anyone under the age of eighteen (because that is honestly just creepy and has Mrs. Robinson written all over it) and you won't be legal until next June. This makes me sad.

But it does make me happy that you replied to me last night. Here's how it went down:

And the other day he retweeted me, which earned him major brownie points because it was a retweet of a link to the blog post I mentioned them in last week, which not only shamelessly promotes himself, but it increased page hits, so thank you so much, Nico :)

Finally ... KX ... oh, damn.

Guys ... guys ... I'm speechless.

You know there's always the one member in a new K-Pop group that just leaves me melting into a big pile of TKPA mess. There was SeungHo, Jun Hyung, Dari, and most recently P.O. We can now officially add KX to that list.

Seriously, no words.

Perfection.

I've had my fill of rappers. I don't need to add anymore to the list. I've set my sights on dancers and choreographers now, and KX has earned his spot in the top three. That's how few dancers I have. THREE.

I know a lot of people have been saying that the song is ridiculous and stupid and they aren't sure if it is a joke or not. But it is actually genius of them in a way. The more people tell other people, "You have to watch this video. The song is ridiculous!" the more YouTube hits it will receive, which will give the group more attention. We were all there watching and making fun of Rebecca Black, and the girl turned around and put out a real song and instant celebrity. You have to be able to laugh at yourself.

Also, this isn't a song for older girls like us (even though Nico said I wasn't old). Their target fan base is the preteen, young teenage girl age group, and this song does relate to them. We think it's corny, but this is a boy band, and boy bands usually are meant for young girls, not for those of us over the age of seventeen.

And I know there is a lot of talk going around that they ripped off K-Pop and that they're copying Teen Top and all these other groups ... but when did it become wrong to be influenced off of another artist? If it was so wrong, then wouldn't Taeyang and G-Dragon be copying Michael Jackson? And wouldn't Hyori be copying Beyonce or Lady Gaga? This group did not rip off any sound or lyric or even clothing item from a K-Pop group, they were influenced by them. K-Pop is a very unique genre, it has so many qualities that American pop just doesn't have.

I'm all for this song and this group. Yes, it's a little corny at some parts, and it is hard to believe it isn't a spoof, but they have so much potential. Why are so many people ticked off that an American group was inspired by K-Pop? Shouldn't that be a compliment?

In closing, I'm sorry to Chad if he thought I was harder on him than the others, it's only because he was the one who was featured the most in the video so I am only reacting to what was given to me. I do it out of love so you can improve, because if you're really serious on being influenced by K-Pop and modeling yourself after it ... no one knows male idol groups better than I do; I know what works and what doesn't work here in America. Again, sorry, but please don't hate me and please don't unfollow me from twitter because that will make me sad.

Now it's time to send this to Heart2Heart in hopes that they learn a little insight into the K-Pop world, and also in hopes that Chad doesn't block me.

Tae Tae & Lydia? More like Taedia!

This is speculation here ... but fangirls and fanboys, I think our beloved Taeyang has himself a girlfriend. Let me start off by first saying this is in no way, shape, or form real news; I'm only a very observant fan who has noticed a few things that have led me to believe what I am about to write. So it is not a breaking news story, got it?

Secondly, I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED ABOUT THIS I AM BOUNCING IN MY CHAIR. I HAVE BEEN DYING TO BLOG ABOUT THIS SINCE TUESDAY AND IT HAS BEEN SO HARD FOR ME TO CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT AND KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT ABOUT MY THEORIES OVER TWITTER.

I have been saying it since Solar was released that he was gettin' a lil somethin-somethin because there was a drastic change in his attitude. And every single fan noticed it, it was completely obvious there was something in Taeyang's personal life that made him truly happy.

Here is what I know that has lead me to believe that Taeyang and Lydia Paek are two little lovebirds, sitting in a tree ...

Now I think the wheels have been set in motion for a while as to Lydia coming to YGE. It doesn't just up and happen overnight, so even though she has only been in Korea physically for a few weeks now, I am pretty sure Taeyang has known her for longer. And I'm pretty sure there was an initial attraction on both ends (because who doesn't get all melty when they see Taeyang shirtless and sweaty while doing choreography? And Lydia is a pretty girl and she's cute and bubbly and she totally seems like the type of girl that Tae would go for).

I have a feeling that while he was in America not too long ago, he met up with Miss Paek a few times. I mean, he was in America for a long time. Remember when he was doing "business" for YGE while in the States? Maybe that included getting new talent?

Hmmm ... the plot thickens ...

Third thing, Lydia posted a video last week of her hanging out with Choice 37 and Taeyang. We all know how Korea is; it's very rare that a young girl hangs out with two guys all by her lonesome. (By the way, regardless of her statement saying Tae wasn't the one who cussed ... totally him). Even the way she laughed when he was being all cute while eating his Mr. Goodbar (really wish I was that piece of chocolate), you could just hear it in that laugh. So freaking cute! I just want to smush their faces together and throw rice at them!

PLUS TAEYANG'S ENGLISH IS IMPROVING. I think he's trying harder to learn the language since he's dating an American and he knows he'll have to come to America every now and then because even though South Korea is awesome, she'll get homesick.

The biggest piece of evidence came from earlier this week. Taeyang tweeted the following:

Did you know that Lydia posted a cover of that same song on September 25th? A video which is blacked out because she wants us to "appreciate the music." Um, I think it's because she was singing to our King of Foreplay. Like he was physically there and they were all cuddled and all the ooey-gooey romantic stuff.

AND THEN THERE IS THIS PICTURE SHE POSTED TO HER LOCKERZ ACCOUNT.

I consulted the biggest Taeyang expert I know, and oh yeah ... it's definitely our boy. And it was posted "22 hours ago" at 11 AM (EST) today (Oct. 6th), so it's recent and it means that the two of them were hanging out together around 2 AM in Korea ... nothing good happens after 2 AM, folks.

I firmly believe that Taedia exists, and I am so freaking happy for them. They can say they're just friends all they want, but I won't believe it. These are the cutest freaking people ever and they totally deserve each other. If this is all in my head, that's fine with me. But I'm not talking about how they have the same phones so they must be dating (GD and Kiko).

A part of me didn't want to bring my theory to light, because I know how crazy some fans can get. If you're reading this and you're becoming jealous and you want to start tweeting crazy things to Lydia, remember that before Taeyang is an idol, he is a person. Everyone deserves to be happy, and if he has found even a tiny amount of happiness in just being friends with Lydia, then we, as the people who say we love him no matter what, should respect that and not start sending blood letters.

AND I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED. I LOVE TAEDIA.

Everything I've Missed All At Once

Oh, hello there! It's me, TKPA. I know, it's been so long since we've seen each other last. Did you cut your hair?

We all know I suck from time to time with this thing, but just because I have been absent from the K-Pop scene doesn't mean I've neglected it completely. Here is mostly everything I have missed:

Heechul Enlists, Army is Now Fierce

I have never been able to picture Heechul in the army. There is just a certain quality about him. I guess it's the fact that he likes to dress up as a Korean Lady Gaga -- and no, that is not a comment about his sexuality, it's a comment on how he likes to stand out. Heechul does not like to blend in and be "like everyone else." And in the Army ... that's pretty much all it's about.

So when it finally came time to say bye-bye to that perfect complexion, a lot of his fans were heartbroken and scared. I just kept thinking, "Why is everyone freaking out? His leg injury will land him a desk job." Because of the metal rod in his leg, I doubt that the South Korean Army would require him to do anything physical, anything in the field. So if North Korea throws a hissy fit (let's hope not), Heechul will be safe and sound.

Still, it's sad that Super Junior has to go yet another lengthy time period without yet another member in tow. I will miss Heechul and all of the outlandish, arrogant things he does and I can't wait until he returns (until then, how about ALL of Super Junior just go enlist at the same time so two years, done and over with and we can get back to making music).

And then there was ...

Heechul Finishes Activites ... Why Didn't Kangin?

I saw in a few tweets that some people were upset that before enlisting, Heechul completed all sorts of activities, even filmed a new music video ... yet Kangin didn't. Well, unless you count his hands in "Sorry Sorry (Answer)." Maybe I didn't get the whole story or why people were upset ... but Kangin wasn't technically allowed to be a part of any of Super Junior's activities. He was still placed on hiatus stemming from his two drunken indiscretions, making it impossible for him to be a part of anything.

And taking a shot in the dark here, but I think that maybe he also wasn't in the right frame of mind at that time, maybe he was a little depressed at his actions. And maybe because he had let so many people he cared about down, he decided he needed a change and needed a chance to better himself. Personally, I would much rather Kangin come back to Super Junior because he in his heart is ready and is passionate about it, not come back because the group's schedule demands it.

More important than physical health is mental health. Remember that.

Oh, and there was also ...

Jay Park Goes Blonde and Has a Bajillion Stupid Tattoos

Seriously, Jay? There's just so much all going on with all of this.

Like, first of all ... blonde looks very weird on you. I know some idols can pull that unnatural shade off ... but you are definitely not one of them. You look like you're going to eat my soul or some freaky horror movie shit. I'm sorry, I know a lot of you liked it, but to me it doesn't suit him well. We all make mistakes, it's just hair. Easily fixable.

These tattoos, on the other hand ... really?

I'm all for someone getting a tattoo, I have nothing against them. Just don't get something stupid and insignificant and dear God, think about placement.

Stars on your neck? Seriously? Tattoo profiling here, but that makes me think that you are either: a) a stripper who has had drug problems and is trying to live a "clean" life, but can't seem to find an actual day job, b) a white girl from the suburbs who is auditioning for Step Up 12, c) a guest on Jerry Springer. Stars on the neck are as TRASHTASTIC as you can get.

The AOM tattoo ... okay, I get that it is something very meaningful and important to you (unlike the stars which is just fucking stupid) ... but the placement of it ... dude. Come on. You're killing me. Behind the ear? That is where girls get tattoos because they want to rebel and think "no one will ever see it because my hair will cover it, but just knowing it's there is good enough." STOP GETTING CHICK TATTOOS IN CHICK PLACES FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. I like the AOM tattoo because it's significant, but behind the ear?!

Speaking of Blondes and Tattoos ...

You all know how much I love G-Dragon, and that means that because I love him so much more than others (I'd say he's definitely in my top three), I have to be that much harder on him. There's no favoritism here!

I actually like this. I don't like it on the forearm, but it's different and it's artsy, which describes GD completely. I think it could have been placed somewhere else, but I don't have a big problem with it. I have a bigger problem with what he's wearing -- I didn't know that cut off bermuda shorts were popular with the men in Korea.

However ...

I had no idea what the hell this was. To be honest, I still have no idea. I was never into Dragon Ball Z, if that is even where this is from. I do not know if there's any significance to it, this honestly confuses the hell out of me. It really does. I don't really like it (partly because I don't understand it) but I will admit that I do think it's stupid.

More importantly, I just wanted to post a picture of G-Nips on the blog.

I have also heard that he had three tattoos done ... and so far we've seen two. So if that rumor is actually true and there is one more piece of body art left to be discovered, what is it and where is it located? Any thoughts on what it could be?

And could someone please tell me what this second tattoo means?

It was like the Earth was going to implode or something when Taeyang dyed the tips of his legendary faux hawk a dirty blonde.

When I first heard about it, I thought he changed his whole hairstyle. And I was so scared because there is only so much that boy can do with the existing amount of hair he has, so I honestly believed he shaved his head. And I was about to cry because baldy Tae Tae is not acceptable. Then I saw that my beloved little spikey 'do was still intact, just freshened up a bit.

Quite frankly, I could care less if he dyed it rainbow colors. Just as long as he doesn't have a bald head or corn rows or dreads. Anything else, I'm good with.

Tae Tae's Older Brother -- Hot or Eh?

I know some of you think Taeyang's older brother is hot and gorgeous and looks just like Tae ... I don't see it. I mean, they have the same eyes ... but that's about it. Taeyang -- in my opinion -- is way hotter and definitely twenty times more gorgeous than this brother. You don't have to agree, that's fine. And if you want to jump the Tae ship and go after his bro, thinking "I'll never get Tae, but his brother looks enough like him so it doesn't matter," .... well, one you're an awful human being. And two, that's less competition for me, so go ahead and be awful so I can have Tae Tae all to myself.

He's cute, I don't think that family can produce ugly ... but I'm too obsessed with Tae to settle.

Seriously, those are all legit questions and I really hope that whatever is going on between them, they are able to work out and continue making great music together and continue making us adore them. Though we all want to know what is going on, I know that it isn't our place to know and that it is a private matter between the three of them. I will say that even if they are splitting up and they will no longer be the trio we've all come to love and connect with, I and many others will continue to support and love all of them.

Like many fans, I not only appreciate One Way because of their music, but because of their dedication to their fans. Sure, they hadn't been the most popular in Korea, but by reaching out to us on Twitter, they gained fans from all over and connected with us. I really am appreciative for that, because not many of our favorite idols are able to reply to us, and if they do it is only to a handful of people very rarely.

If the guys are reading this (not likely, but you never know; for all I know Peter could have bookmarked the blog so he'd know if anymore "bomb" cookies were on his way to him), I do hope that whatever happened between you is worked out. Not for the fans, but for yourselves and the friendship you all have.

Until then I'll wait patiently for the answers and hope that this is all just a rough patch.

Who the Eff is Heart2Heart?

So I haven't been the most active lately, but as you can see I have been paying attention to what is going on. And I've been seeing a lot of people on Twitter talking about "Heart2Heart" and I have been so confused as to who these guys are and why they're relevant to K-Pop.

And then I found out that the guy who is doing their mixing, also did it for BIGBANG and 2NE1. And THEN I found out that they are like the little proteges for Lance freaking Bass and I was like HELL YES. Because you should all know by now that *NSYNC covered my walls in my teeny bopper years, that I went to EVERY tour, and when/if JT ever gets his head out of his ass, I will be the first in line to buy tickets to a reunion tour, because *NSYNC kicks BSB's ass any day. They were and will always be my ultimate bias.

So, anyway ... the affliation with Lance has me hooked. I don't need to know anymore about these guys, they have the stamp of approval in my book.

I want more of THIS from SuJu. This is what they should have given us instead of "Mr. Simple." That was too much like "Sorry Sorry" and I wanted to see what else they can do without it saying, "Remember us? We did that one song that everyone loved! If you loved that, you'll love this too!"

They just showed me what else they can do, and now I will shut up and watch this a thousand more times because I honestly cannot get enough of this.

Memories of Korea

The other day I had a follower say he sent me an email and wanted me to take a look at a video he compiled about his recent trip to Korea.

Well, as happy as any Monday can get, at least.

All morning I have been printing out tons of documents for the new semester (which starts tomorrow and that means no more summer) and I needed a break for my mind. So after watching a few kpop videos, I had a strong desire to watch the MAMA performance with G-Dragon, T.O.P, and Taeyang. I just wanted to start my week right, you know?

And it was so amazing and made me all giddy and excited as if I was actually, physically there to witness this in person. And it made me happy.

So I'm passing on the happiness to you!

It's going to be a good week! But if for some reason you start to feel yourself slipping in the aggravation that the week plagues upon you ... just come back here and watch it again. I know I will surely be grateful for my YouTube app.

Boys [in Leather] Over Flowers

I'm really late to the game on this, but since I've recently discovered that Boys Over Flowers is now available to watch on Netflix, I've become addicted. This is why I don't watch Korean dramas. If the music was like kimchi laced crack, the shows are going to be as well.

And I swear if JoonPyo and JanDi don't get together soon I will lose all faith in love.

Just kidding, I'm not that dramatic.

In sort of a Twilight saga, way too drawn out love triangle situation, I am totally against JiHoo and JanDi. Totally against it. Like dude, you see she's totally in love with your boy but yet you still try to wiggle your way into her heart thinking that one day she'll have this big epiphany and realize you're the one she wants to be with. I'm sorry but you're worth way more than to sit around waiting all the time for someone who can't even realize they love you enough to make you their first and only choice.

Okay, that rant is over.

Another thing I really, really hate about the show is that they always leave off right when it gets good. I know all shows do that, but sometimes it's nice to end on a good note and make you feel happy and positive about life, rather than leave you dangling from the top of the Empire State building with just a crappy bungey cord to hold onto. I don't know how many times I've cursed the entire Korean nation because of this stupid show that I can't stop freaking watching because I have to know what happens.

Second rant is over. There is no point to this post, it seems.

Just be shirtless and wear those "Break Down" leather pants.

Where's the Simple Part?

I finally had a chance to watch Super Junior's new MV for "Mr. Simple" this morning, and kind of having mixed feelings about it. I love seeing my first k-pop love again, seeing new things from them ... but at the same time there was no much that I felt wasn't "new."

It threw me for a loop in the beginning of the MV, when Siwon is focused in on and then Heechul walks by and then Kyuhyun is standing where Siwon should be. To be honest, I looked away for one quick second and the next thing I know Kyuhyun was there. Then I couldn't believe that I mistook Kyu for Siwon and I honestly thought I was a bad fan because I didn't recognize him -- my favorite maknae of all-time (shhhh, don't tell P.O!).

And then Donghae walks by and again, I was so freaking distracted by watching Eunhyuk's jacket fly through the air and magically glide up his arms and onto his shoulders that I didn't notice after Hae walks by the Kyu turns back into Siwon. So at the end I just see Siwon standing there and I'm like "WTF NO YOU WEREN'T THERE!"

SME, why you making us fangirls feel like we're losing our minds?

Then again I have a crappy attention span.

The video starts and I have to admit ... not much of a giddy, excited reaction this time around. Although I did have to replay the beginning a few times because I swear as soon as Leeteuk says, "Hey, I'm Mr. Simple," there is a sound-bite of the Facebook chat notification, that "pop."

But once everything starts and the lights are flashing, distracting you from their choreography -- which is absolutely plain in comparison to previous MVs -- I can see where a lot of people have compared it to "Sorry, Sorry" and "Bonamana." It's the same beat, same sound. And I think because of the fact that "Sorry, Sorry" was such a massive hit, they want to try to duplicate that success, so by making their first singles off these last two albums sound identical to the beat of "Sorry, Sorry" they think they'll have another hit on their hands.

The choreography is really good in some parts, like I love the "x dance" as some of you are calling it. But as for the chorus, it truly is like the "da da da da da da da da da" circle motion in "Sorry, Sorry," only they are standing still and doing it slower.

It's a new song, a new album, a new look for every single one of them ... give us something fresh and exciting.

As far as look goes ... perfect. No complaints at all from me (which you should all know by now is seldom).

And as far as Leeteuk goes ...

Yes, please.

Like I said, I like the song a lot, not particularly crazy about the video, but I'm really happy that Super Junior is back once again and I'm so excited to see more from them.

And if I'm not mistaken, I think one of the producers that took part in that atrocious ELF anthem called me out via Twitter and said he'd really like to hear my review for "Got Your Number."

The Butterfly Effect

You know how there is that common theory called the butterfly effect, where if a butterfly flaps its wings in Africa, a hurricane will affect the Caribbean? An unfortunate chain of events, basically.

Well, the "butterfly" is the electric razor. The "hurricane" is TKPA.

This picture makes me so sad. I loved his hair. I secretly liked the thrill of seeing all the crazy shit he would do to it, and I guiltily looked forward to bitching and complaining about it, even though on the inside I felt like a ridiculous tumblr "secret," too scared to let you all know how I really felt because I have a freaking rep to protect.

And even though it makes me sad, I kind of can't help but smile and part of me really really really ridiculously abnormally likes this. Okay, I love G-Dragon's new hair. One hundred percent in love with it.

At first I was mad, like how the hell could he just SHAVE it off? How the hell am I going to make fun of him now, when there's no hair to make fun of?

Now I'm cool with it, because it looks so soft and fuzzy. I just want to rub the crown of his head and sing, "Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear. Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair. So Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't very fuzzy, was he?" only cute-like and make him laugh and we'll both giggle and it'll become "our thing" and he'll keep shaving it so we can continue on with our stupid little giggle-fest for all eternity.

That's why I'm cool with it. Because I'm a perpetual child.

In all seriousness, it's just hair. It will grow back. More than likely, GD had to shave it because his existing hair suffered damaged to all the crap he's done to it. And he's done so much to it that I'm surprised it hasn't just fallen out completely.

Just think, when his new hair grows out, it will be soft and silky and it will totally give us all complexes that this dude has prettier hair than us.

P.O, You Have No Idea What's Awaiting You

Never have I ever been this lustful over a maknae. Never.

While watching "Freeze" by the new, hot, gorgeous rookie group, Block B, I was totally leaning toward making Zico or B-Bomb or Jaehyo my bias to love, cherish, and obsess over infinite amounts until death do us part. Those are three equally sexy men, and Zico seemed to be winning leaps and bounds (because you all know how I love my rappers, and I especially love it when their fashion sense is outlandish and downright ridiculous).

And then P.O came along.

Guys, I was done for. Like how could I not just fall apart and melt into a huge puddle of fangirl after hearing that voice? If I love rappers with off the wall fashion ... I love rappers with deep voices even more. And oh my God, a younger T.O.P sound-a-like who is equally gorgeous and dorky ... seriously? What did I do in a former life to make the K-pop Gods reward me with such an amazing gift?

Thank goodness you are eighteen, P.O. You are going to be talked about frequently. And I am so happy that only one person voted for you in the Cervix Punchers because now I can only share you with her. Don't worry, bb. I'm Scared of Boyfran

Boyfrans and gurlfrans ... I was severely creeped out by the new MV for rookie group Boyfriend's song "Boyfriend." And believe it or not it had nothing to do with the cutesy factor of the concept. It's a cute song, it deserves a cute concept.

It was the plastic, Ken doll members that kind of gave me the creeps. Not even Ken doll, because they're too pretty. They're more like masculine Barbie dolls. They look animated, computerized. Especially the blonde one with the big ass eyes (sorry, I don't know who is who). Just the way he moves his head with those eyes ... kind of reminds me of the little girl in The Exorcist. Just saying.

Can anyone give me names of who is who? I know three of them are fifteen, so just tell me who the twenty-one-year-old is so I can be his gurlfran.

I can't wait to see more from them in the future, and I especially can't wait until the blonde dyes his hair to a more natural color and thus not scare me anymore.

BEAST: Kimchi v. Sushi

BEAST's new MV for their Japanese version of "Bad Girl" was released the other day, and judging by some comments I pulled from a few different uploaded versions, I don't feel left out in my thinking that this version fell short from the original, Korean version.

Like fell off the same tree and rolled down a hill and off a cliff and into the bottom of a shadowy, scary gorge where it splattered all over the rocks. Okay that was harsh. It came to a more dramatic halt at the cliff's edge, but it still is no where near the tree.

It isn't horrible, I actually really like some elements from it that I wished they could have thought of when they debuted. It's just different. And naturally, the only way to settle such a dispute as to which video is more awesome is to break it down and take a vote!

STYLE

It is no secret that I hate what BEAST's stylists do to them, and it seems that Hyun Seung gets the most of the unfair cray cray style. When I find something that I do like on them, it's a rare occasion and maybe even a cause for a big ass celebration party. I really loved their style in the Japanese version, and despised it in the Korean version.

However, Dongwoon's hair situation needs to be dealt with ASAP, because it just isn't working for me. Comb it differently or whatever you have to do, as long as it doesn't make you look like Justin Bieber, okay?

In my book, Japan wins. Simply because they look like grown men versus another cutesy boyband designed to be adored by adolescent girls. They catered to their legal lady fans on this one.

CHARISMA

HANDS DOWN KOREA.

There is no freaking question about it. They look exhausted, depressed even. I really don't understand where their smiles went. Even Hyun Seung ... the most smiley person in the group looks like you kicked his whole litter of puppies and knocked his ice-cream cone out of his hand. AJ isn't nearly as into the video the second time around as he is the first.

They all look like they just don't care. And that's really unfortunate. If they came into their Japanese debut with the energy that made us all--internationally--fall in love with them, everything would be wonderful. But if I was a Japanese fan and saw the drastic difference between the two versions and the lack of enthusiasm, I would be really upset.

Yes, I know they're tired and overworked, but this is still their job. Is it fair to them? Absolutely not. But plenty of other idols are just as equally overworked and exhausted, and they put on that front and wear it well for the public, for their fans.

CHOREOGRAPHY

Again, hands down Korea. A lot of this gets factored into the lack of charisma in the Japanese version, but I honestly felt like screaming at my computer screen for them to stop standing there and MOVE, DAMN IT!

Even Doo Joon, my sweet, sweet DJ ... if you watch him at 1:15, he's exhaling so hard that it comes across as exasperation, like this is pointless and stupid and there are a million other things they as a group have to accomplish and do.

During the chorus, there wasn't much effort put into the choreography that everything seems slow and drawn out and boring. Could the director have given all of them two Red Bulls to down after seeing the first take was not up to BEAST standard or something? It's as if they forgot their choreography to this song--their debut song, something that should always be executed flawlessly because they worked so long and so hard on it--and they didn't have time to practice before shooting so it was all done from vague memory.

I just didn't feel their passion from this video, and I'm not saying it's terrible. I was just spoiled with the original so I kind of want the NEW version to surpass it and leave my mind blown. My mind was blown, but not in the wow-that-was-so-amazing! way I wanted it to be.

Cervix Punchers (With a New Twist!)

Yes, we didn't have this in February. Truthfully, I forgot all about it until February 26th, so I figured we could just skip it for the month and wait until May. Also, it was right when BIGBANG had their comeback, so I had a feeling that the votes would be predominantly for them, and though I cannot complain about that, I didn't think it would be 100% fair to the other male idols (like they actually read this thing).

Admit it ... there is just one male idol, above all others, that just does something to you. He makes your ovaries twitch and ache and makes your uterus long for a tenant for forty weeks. It doesn't matter what he does. A new or old performance, a TV appearance, or even just looking at a damn picture sends you into a complete melt-down state of wanting to enter motherhood.

You know exactly who I'm talking about.

This isn't necessarily a category, it's more like bragging rights. Only the top five will be posted on the right sidebar, like the holy list of men you want to have lots of unprotected sex with.

We have some new rules this time around, so pay attention!

1. No more than ~~six~~ eight idols can be voted for. If you list ten, only the first ~~six~~ eight will be counted. ~~Six~~ Eight is more than plenty! (I'm giving you eight this time around to make up for skipping February).

2. When you go to list your idol, state his stage name and group name. Because there's more than just one "Junsu" and sometimes I'm not totally 100% sure of what an idol's real name is, so this will make it easier for me, okay?

3. Only vote for an idol one time. Don't repeat an idol's name six times, because I'm only going to count them once.

4. They must be over the age of 18, so still no Taemin or DongHo or anyone else under the age of 18. I REPEAT DO NOT CAST A VOTE FOR ANYONE UNDER 18, EVEN IF YOU ARE UNDER 18. GOT IT?! If you choose to ignore this, your entire vote (meaning all the people you voted for) will not count. Don't be rude; follow the rules.

5. Don't count the votes ahead of time, please! I tried doing it a secret way before, but not enough people participated by just emailing their choices to me. If you count before, then you're taking the fun out of everything. Just be patient!

I know that we all don't have one bias group and one bias member. I know we kind of whore our fan girl hearts out to multiple idols, and I think that by casting votes, but then narrowing it down to the Top Fifteen will remind you of someone you didn't vote for the first time around, and it will truly show the best of the best.

Let's see how this works, and if the general consensus is approving and it works, this will be the way we will carry out the Cervix Punchers from now on.

Happy Birthday to the Sexiest Man in South Korea

One of my all-time favorite idols/artists turned 23 (24) today. And although he only has like half an hour left of May 18th in Korea, it's bright and early where I'm at so the celebration of this beautiful man gracing us with his constant sex appeal, seemingly neverending Michael Jackson choreography (looking at you APOPA!), gorgeous voice, and the most adorable freaking Engrish I've ever heard, is continuing on and on 'til the break of dawn (I got a mic and a I just can't leave it alone) .... sorry, couldn't resist!

I know why they call him "Taeyang" or "Sol." It's because when he takes off his shirt, his glorious abs emit a ray of light so bright and powerful that people mistake it as the sun's solar energy. That's the reason, and I'm sticking to it.

Taeyang posted a video on his YouTube Channel this morning, and he's so freaking cute and adorable that I wanted to reach through my computer screen and snatch him up and just squeeze him until he started turning blue from lack of oxygen.

I love how for majority of the video, he's just wandering around aimlessly, leaning on a graffiti wall. Then he starts a one-man flash mob on some stairs. Then he almost kicks the camera. Then he continues to walk around in the same places and does some spins, which I know he meant to make himself look cool, but all it does is make it look like he's lost and he's trying to remember how to get back to the hotel by looking around for familiar landmarks.

And I especially love how it's windy, and the trees are moving in the background, and you can hear the wind on the camera's microphone ... yet there's so much product in that faux hawk that it doesn't move a milimeter. I now fully appreciate how much time must go into making it hard as a rock. (Maybe that's the inspiration of Pride Rock in the background of the "I'll Be There" video. It was a tribute to the faux hawk).

Now this was just released, and I have so many comments about this video, I need to just break it down.

1. When the video first starts, Taeyang is "dancing." Not so much dancing, as grinding the air. Perhaps warming up for the big event? (I KNOW HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND STASHED AWAY SOMEWHERE, I JUST KNOW HE DOES).

2. Sunglasses indoors, Taeyang? In a dimly lit room? Really? I know, I know. Your future's so bright, you gotta wear shades.

3. The camera pans to the birthday cake .... LOOK! TAEYANG IS FINALLY TALLER THAN SOMEONE! Honestly, what a mean joke the person who designed the cake played. How dare you make fun of Tae-Tae's height. Only I'm allowed to do that.

4. GD obnoxiously screaming in the background was his way of stealing some of my attention off of Taeyang and his birthday. He was getting jealous.

5. Speaking of GD, shouldn't he give the hat styled like a birthday cake to one of the birthday boys? You truly are an attention whore, and I love you for it.

I have evidence for the Pro and Con sides of the current situation as to whether or not Kangin, whom we all miss greatly since he entered the military, has joined us in Twitterworld.

PRO:

He tweeted this picture on April 27th of himself in military uniform. And from the quality of it, you can tell it was taken by his cell phone.

If the account is fake, then they went through a heck of a lot of trouble obtaining this picture, because I'm 95% positive that if this had been released, forums and sites would have written about it and I would have seen your spastic tweets of excitement.

Oh and he looks so precious in that uniform!

CON:

He has been tweeting from his account since the end of JANUARY and no one knew? I mean, really? An idol cannot sneeze without it immediately being front page news and everyone offering "fighting" for his/her health.

AND he is only following three members of Super Junior, none of which are following him back, not even Leeteuk. So either he hasn't talked to any of them, and when he has, "Hey follow me on Twitter!" is the last thing to come to his mind, or when he's talking to them and retweeting them, they don't see it because they get flooded with tweets from fans so they don't know he's talking to and following them.

Where the hell is Shindong to confirm this for us? He's slacking.

Jay Park has Abandonment Issues

It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to see Jay Park back and singing in Korean where his ass belongs. Yes, we know you're a bboy at heart and that will never change, but dude we missed you. And there are only so many videos of you singing in your bathroom that we can handle. Unless you want to spice things up and sing in the shower, you're better off back in music videos and on stage.

And hopefully now that silly feud with some other guys will be put to rest .............. hint, hint.

Already "Abandoned" is stuck in my head. I don't know what he's saying, but when do I ever? Hell I have a hard enough time trying to decipher this guy's English tweets. I really like this video and I didn't find anything that I thought was ridiculous or stupid or just a horrible, horrible choice and shouldn't have ever happened. I'm Back, Motivated, and Better Than Ever

Yours truly is back, folks. I've been slacking for way too long, neglecting my duty to all of you lovely readers around the globe to bring you sinfully delicious reading material about the idols we have become batshit obsessed over. The "Dark Ages," you could say, are over.

Now that the semester is over (Wednesday!) and it is summer, I have time on my hands when not at work. And I promise you all that it will be an amazing summer!

So it was really great timing that I stumbled upon this video by Simon and Martina at Eat Your Kimchi. I've been watching their videos for a while and I love them. I think they're absolutely hilarious and highly entertaining.

We can now on Facebook vote for BIGBANG to come to our home country as part of this global event. Whether or not they will still add America to that list (since they want to debut here anyway), we don't know. But why would we take the chance?

We know that Papa YG wants to bring the boys here, so let's show him that we want them here!

Think of it this way ... I'm sure a lot of other idols are paying attention to what BIGBANG is doing right now. Opening it up to the world, broadening the k-pop horizons and seeing where exactly in the world they have fans. Point being, if they see that there are a lot of K-Pop fans in America, guess where they are going to want to go next?

As a whole fandom, not just a VIP or an ELF or a Hottest, Cassie, A+, B2uty, Shawol. etc, etc, etc ... we should really help each other out on this. Vote for BIGBANG to come to America, and maybe 2PM will follow on their own tour. Maybe Super Junior will hop on the bandwagon, bringing SHINee along.

I Wish More Music Videos Were Like This

This, my friends, is the best music video I have ever seen. Not because it's BIGBANG (well, it doesn't hurt that's for sure), but because it truly is an amazing video from an artistic standpoint.

When you get past the initial they're in a desert with one random telephone pole and what seems to be remnants of cars and a bus from a bomb explosion, you realize that this is all in ONE SHOT.

ONE CONTINUOUS SHOT. NO STOPPING. NO SWITCHING BETWEEN CAMERAS. ONE SHOT.

Do you know how hard that is to accomplish? To have everything timed so perfectly, to have the entire thing choreographed so precise that one tiny mistake will mean doing everything over again? It is amazing and it makes me want to cry from sheer happiness that BIGBANG worked this hard to deliver this to their fans.

Even when they're standing in a v-formation at 1:12, it is pure amazing what GD does to keep the fluidity of everything.

And then as the camera starts to move to the right, you see GD start to spin.

And then BAM! As soon as T.O.P becomes the center of the camera shot, GD finishes his spin, altering the v-formation to follow the camera.

Do you see how genius this video is, guys? This honestly makes me want to cry from how brilliant and pure amazing this is.

I know a lot of people have been making fun of how they've been "spinning" so much lately, but you do realize that this is why they've been spinning so much? They've been trying to get the fluidity of it down because they've probably been rehearsing and choreographing this particular MV for quite some time. Kind of makes you feel a little silly now, doesn't it?

There are only two other things that I can compare this to. The first one being the dramatic version of "It's You" by Super Junior. They could have done away with incorporating the choreography into the video and strictly made the dramatic version the whole MV. The other one isn't even K-Pop. No, it's my favorite movie of all time, GoodFellas. If you have never seen this movie, I suggest you go rent it ASAP. Anyway, there is one scene with the steady cam shot that lasts over two minutes and you'll see just how timing is truly everything.

BIGBANG IF YOU'RE STALKING THIS BLOG, I LOVE YOU FOR DOING THIS! To me this proves that you don't have to have some batshit crazy plot where you give birth to a mannequin head covered in goop to have your music video considered "art." Less is more.

(Oh, but GD ... you could lose the one dangly earring. That would make this even more perfect).

ELFs Now Have an Anthem

I debated on whether or not I should hide my true feelings about this song and let you form your own opinion, or if I should rip the band-aid off like I do with everything else.

I wouldn't be me if I kept the band-aid on.

This is awful. Horrendous. Atrocious. As the French would say, c'est très mal. Any other synonym for "bad" you can think of. This ... song, if that's what you want to call it, makes Rebecca Black's recent disaster seem like epic gold. And if that nauseating voice of hers seems golden, then you know this shit is bad.

I know you're all excited because these big songwriters and producers, who have not only worked with Super Junior but other big names in the music industry, created this for you ... but come the fuck on this is a slap in the face to the fans.

We are not all thirteen and fourteen year old girls, okay? Not all of us find Super Junior to be cooler than polar bears, because quite frankly those are hilarious animals and they live in the damn Arctic Circle, so if you want to get technical about it, I'm pretty sure polar bears are "cooler." This whole song caters to the young teenagers and I feel like I need to shove a bunch of Bubblelicious in my mouth and blow a bubble the size of my head.

And sorry sorry sorry, but the line "Sorry Sorry Sorry has a really good beat!" ... ARE YOU KIDDING? This is really a line written by professional songwriters? This whole song was written by professional producers?

This is such an insulting song to Super Junior fans. We're not all thirteen. We're not all bubblegum teeny boppers. Any song that compares Super Junior to pizza, polar bears, and popcorn should not be classified as a song.

If you like the song, that's great. That is your opinion. This is my opinion, so leaving me comments about how my opinion isn't absolute and blah blah blah will get you nowhere except making you feel like "you told me" for about five seconds. I respect your taste and not once in this post did I criticize the people that like it, I criticized the styling of the song and the lyrics of the song. I criticized the people who produced it, not the ones who like it.

YGE, Why Did You Bitch Slap Us?

We've been waiting for what feels like a lifetime for BIGBANG's comeback. We were teased mercilessly with a plethora of new photos of the boys looking so amazing. We were hit with the news that they're gearing up for an American debut. We were given a freaking countdown to their official comeback date. We had a sneak peek at a teaser for "Tonight."

And then comes this morning. The day we've been waiting for. The day our fangirl and fanboy calendars have been marked, with hearts and smiley faces covering the tiny square of today's date. People who live in California, a whole seventeen hours behind you in Korea, woke up before seven in the morning so they could be there the moment it struck midnight in Korea. And I'm sure some people didn't even sleep.

Midnight hits ... and all we get is a longer freaking teaser?

Dude.

Seriously?

I'm extremely happy that we can pre-order it on iTunes, that the songs have been released. But Papa YG, I was counting on that three and a half to four minutes of staring and drooling and pledging my life and soul to these five men, and I felt like you bitch slapped me and put me back into my fangirl place.

I feel like I have been craving the most delicious cupcake from my favorite bakery all day. This is the best cupcake my taste buds have had the pleasure to taste, the best in the world. It's moist and perfectly baked, and it makes your eyes roll into the back of your head with each bite. The frosting feels like sin made of powdered sugar, butter, and milk. My mouth has been salivating all day just thinking about the piece of Heaven awaiting me ... only to have it be slightly burnt, dry, crumbly, with frosting that is runny and overly mixed.

I know you'll make it up to me and soon. Please do not let it be six months before the full album is released. Because then I have to come up with another baked good analogy and that's really hard, man.

BIGBANG, Stop Before it is Too Late

I'm going to use my newfound knowledge of actually being somewhat important/relevant in the K-Pop industry to try and plead with YGE and its stylists and BIGBANG to stop making some mistakes. I know the boys are going to debut in America and they're working toward that goal, but now it's serious. They can't come here looking like this or else they will get torn to shreds.

Can we please stop with this disaster print that looks like you've snuck onto a Native American reservation and stole some quilts line-drying? TVXQ did it and they looked awful and ridiculous. There's no need to put a whole outfit of that on Taeyang. I will admit, the hoodie with the fur-lined hood on Daesung looks really good, because it isn't overkill. It isn't too much for my eyes to handle.

The same goes for the pants that are on T.O.P. It looks sloppy and that man never looks sloppy. I get the impression by looking at his entire outfit, that he reeks of marijuana and does nothing but lounge around in a damn bean bag chair all day playing video games. What happened to the sexy, mysterious, smoldering T.O.P we have all come to know and love? I want that guy back, not the guy that looks like he's going no where with his life. I want my sleek and sophisticated T.O.P back. The leather jacket is way too big; if you can barely see his hands, you know it doesn't fit.

I'm not feeling the pants on GD, either. I know that is a little more his style, and I think if there was maybe a different shirt underneath his open jacket, I would feel differently about it. I do however absolutely love the wolf ears on the fur hood. Not only does it tie in my whole theft of Native American quilts, but it's so bizarre and off the wall that it shows us the side of GD that we love.

The only two I don't have a problem with are Daesung and Seungri. They're flawless. There is not one thing wrong with how Daesung is styled. His hair looks fantastic, the jacket, the pants, even the red shoes fit together so well. And Seungri is perfect. He could lose the leather gloves, but he can also keep them and it still looks good.

By this picture alone, in my opinion, the only two who are ready to come to America, image wise, would be Seungri and Daesung. GD could maybe get away with it, but T.O.P looks like an 80's stoner and Taeyang just looks ridiculous.

I have slightly less problems with this picture. First of all, T.O.P looks significantly better. This is T.O.P to me. I'm not too crazy about the shirt, but everything goes together and he looks great. The only problem I have with him in this picture has nothing to do with what he's wearing, it's the fact that the stylist should have known that hats with that kind of pattern in the fabric never photograph well. So it looks blurry and distorted and it takes away from him.

Seungri needs to lose the glittery jacket, but other than that he is absolutely flawless. Daesung, again, absolute perfection. And I really wish I could say the same about Tae and GD, but I can't. This is killing me because you all know that I hardly ever pick on Taeyang for what he's wearing, because he always looks so good. I don't know what happened, but the metallic purple leopard jacket is a heinous idea. That needs to be burned immediately.

Maybe just a solid color purple jacket if they wanted to have that outerwear factor and maybe channel Justin Bieber, but it isn't necessary. Especially when he has a neon pink squiggle of leopard print on his chest. Taeyang is manly, sexy, sweet, passionate. That squiggle is anything but masculine. Then when you add the green belt into the mix? I'm not sure if they just took a color wheel and closed their eyes and played eenie-meenie-miney-mo to see what colors to dress him in or what, but it just doesn't go together. Black pants, black shirt, deep purple jacket, purple belt, black shoes. There you go stylists! It wasn't that hard.

Oh my sweet GD. I know this outfit screams you, but I can't deal with this, bb. Not the leather fringe hanging down your back, not the excessive amount of leopard print. Not the way your jacket looks like it is composed of sequins, not the way it sparkles. I don't understand the pink belt at all. I even hate the way your pants are so tight it looks like you're wearing jeggings. THIS NEEDS TO STOP, JI YONG. YOU ARE BETTER THAN THIS.

However ... thank you for going back to blonde, because it has truly made me the happiest little fan girl ever :)

BIGBANG and their stylists, and even Papa YG if you're reading this, you need to work on this image of the boys. It might be perfect for Korea, but it will not work in America. Back off on the leopard print, I really mean it. I know Koreans gravitate toward it like a bear to honey, but men wearing it in America will NOT be received positively.

Apparently, This Blog is a Big Deal

Who would've thought?

All morning I've been trying to keep my cool and not freak out and hyperventilate or cry. And I kind of did a face-plant into failing miserably with that objective.

According to Bernie Cho, President of DFSB Kollective (you can read an interview with him here!), who was interviewed by Bloomberg (a really, really big name in the international business world), the top three K-Pop blogs or fansites that are in English generate more traffic than Korean music portals, based out of Korea that are written in Korean.

And who was the second blog that Bloomberg showed?

And it isn't shown just once. Oh, no. Whoever pieced this article together must have loved this blog, because they decided to feature some of the GTOP love.

And then, right after this clip, you see a bunch of Korean girls all bundled up in the freezing cold and there they are. GTOP themselves at a press conference. AND THEN THEY ARE INTERVIEWED.

So, let's just roll with this, okay? Follow me on this train of thought ... if this blog generates that much traffic ... does that mean that these artists truly do read this because they want to know how they're portrayed outside of Korea?

I think this goes to show that there are a lot of perverted and sexually frustrated people across the world who listen to K-Pop.

Where I've Been ...

For those of you commenting and tweeting to me asking why I don't blog anymore, I really appreciate that you miss me, however I really have to ask you to stop.

I work anywhere from twenty-five to thirty hours a week, I go to school all day long twice a week and have a lot of homework for my classes. When I'm not working, I'm doing homework. When I'm not at school, I'm usually working. Honestly, at the end of the day, when I get home at almost nine o'clock at night, the last thing I want to do is sit in an uncomfortable chair and blog when I have to eat dinner, shower, and just chill out before have to wake up the next morning.

I really do appreciate the fact that you want me to blog and you miss my posts. It has nothing to do with the fact that I am "over" k-pop. I still love it very much, I simply don't have the time to dedicate as much time as I did when I first started the blog. Trust me I will update whenever I have the time to do it, like right now. I am sick and should be in bed sleeping, but I know a lot of you miss me so I am doing this for you.

Currently, my laptop really needs to be repaired. The battery is dead and my powercord has fallen apart so I can't charge it at all. Once I get that fixed, I will be able to rest and blog and surf the internet and watch videos and tweet with you all while relaxing on the couch or in bed and not sitting in a computer chair in the living room.

Please bare with me, guys. I tweet a lot through my phone, so don't hesitate to talk to me on there. I can watch youtube videos on my phone as well, so if you want me to see something, tweet it to me or email it to me (I get my email on my phone). But every time I am asked why I don't blog, or when I will blog, it puts so much pressure on me and I feel guilty for letting you all down and disappointing you.

Please trust me that I will return and post more in the upcoming future, but for right now I will mainly be on twitter and occasionally I will find an hour or two of free time to post a few things. I don't know if you know this, but some of your favorite posts actually take anywhere from forty-five minutes to an hour to write. With that said, I am not going to just do a quick little update about what is going on in the k-pop news world and take five minutes. This isn't a news blog, remember? It's just a place to have fun. And would you rather me rush through a post or take my time and have it be awesome?

Break Out the Handcuffs

So Dalmatian has released their new MV for "Lover Cop" and in my opinion, it is a major step up from their debut MV for "Round 1." Concept wise, at least. I'm not left feeling confused and mindraped over the fact that grown men are wearing suits with dalmatian print on them. That's just wrong on so many levels. But they could be forgiven since they were newbies and all and they clearly did not know any better.

My absolute favorite part of the whole MV is during one of the choreographed scenes when Dari is lifted onto the shoulders of the back-up dancers (1:57-2:02).

I died a little on the inside seeing how perfect and flawlessly they executed that, like it was a bunch of Korean men that became Transformers and turned into this giant robot. (I'm sick, maybe I won't feel this way later). Absolutely flawless, Dalmatian.

And maybe we can also attribute the fact that I am sick to this next little blurb I'm about to ramble on about and point out to you.

Doesn't Day Day, with his eyes closed and that stoic expression kind of remind you of T.O.P? And when he pops open his eyes and arches that eyebrow, doesn't it remind you even more of him? Or am I so sick and deluded and missing BIGBANG am I thinking that every Asian man resembles them? (Remember when I thought Micky looked like GD?)

Style wise, most of these boys were perfection from beginning to end. However, no post is complete without some negativity, right? I mean, life can't always be sunshine and rainbows. Occasionally you have to have a hurricane to screw things up a bit.

I don't know why Youngwon's hair is smurf blue. I don't really know what was going on in his head or those stylists' heads when they decided to do this, that this would look good. I'm a fan of hair colors ranging on the "natural" spectrum of things, and this to me just screams Gwen Stefani. And I really don't know about you, but when I look at a guy I don't want to be reminded of a woman. Since it's just hair, you're forgiven for this. Please just dye it any shade of color that you'd find in nature and not from a cartoon from the 80's.

And my favorite Dari ... oh, sweetie. I saved you last for a reason. What you did throughout the MV is horrendous. No one looks good with a hat that looks like it has pieces of a broken mirror and soda can tabs glued to it, okay? No one. Not even Inati with that perfect, angular face of his.

But that I can overlook because hats can always be burned or buried in the backyard, out of sight forever so when you ask me if I've seen your hat I can honestly tell you I haven't because I buried it in the earth where all dead things belong, and if it's underground I can't see it.

There is one thing I won't overlook because we need to stop this before it becomes a trend and more idols do this ...

What on earth is with the cat eye eyeliner? ON THE ONE FREAKING EYE?!

No, this needs to stop right now. You are not Angelina Jolie. You are not Amy Winehouse. Is that who you want to be associated with? A crackhead and a chick that kissed her brother? THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN, DARI. WASH THAT CRAP OFF YOUR FACE AND DON'T PUT IT BACK.

I get guyliner, okay? Tons of the guy idols use it and they look good. If you must insist on using it, follow the footsteps of Taeyang and T.O.P, Dari. They use it the right way and do you see them channeling a crackhead and a lady obsessed with adopting babies? NO, YOU DON'T!

Let's just stop it before it becomes a habit, okay? Please. It's bad enough that it's the trend to wear outfits full of leopard print of various colors and eye make-up that looks like you watched a cheap prostitute's make-up tutorial on YouTube, but can we not add the cat eye eyeliner to that list?

I know it shouldn't come as a shock, considering I sent it to them .... but they actually never tweeted that they received it (which they normally do when fans send them things), so I thought it was lost among the endless packages they received, if it even reached them at all. And then, to see it in Peter's hands on national Korean television ...

Even now I get all giddy and slightly teary-eyed and I just thank God that I have that Martha Stewart tendency sometimes.

But more importantly ... I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SAYING. ASAP.

This entire thing has me confused. When I first watched it on my phone, I was like "Aw, they're showing what fans had given them. Someone made them like a mix-tape CD or something and THERE'S MY TIN! HOLY SHIT MY TIN!" And then when I watched it on a computer (paying more attention) I saw that they were making a CD, the custom label saying "One Way's Special Gift 'Beautiful'." So I'm even more confused as to what is going on and I really really wish that they had a freaking subbing team who would have already translated this so American girls like me who can only say "hello" and "thank you" and "I love you" in Korean won't have a freaking panic attack trying to figure out what is being said.

One Way, what are you doing to me?

GTOP Left Me Speechless and Confused

Really, I have no words. I'm going to try like hell to form coherent sentences about the MV for "Knock Out." Which will be hard, because the whole video was anything but coherent. I can say without a doubt that this will be the number one "what the fuck did I just watch" video of 2011. I don't see how anyone can beat this except for GD and T.O.P. I know they're bound to come out with another WTF video at some point this year.

I like T.O.P's hair in this video. Mainly because it looks like cotton candy. And I'm not the only one who thinks that it does, because look at the girl to his left. She looks like she's about to pounce on him and devour his hair, because it does in fact look like the best cotton candy you'd ever taste, and she probably starved herself in order to be chosen to sit next to him.

GD is on his way to the rave, guys! How else can we explain the plethora of glow-stick necklaces he's wearing and the acid-dropping wardrobe choice?

Everything in this video makes me laugh. Laugh hysterically until I have tears. Literal tears in my eyes and side cramps from not being able to breathe. There's not one part that doesn't crack me up.

MBLAQ Needs Some Tissues for "Cry"

MBLAQ rarely disappoints me. I don't think they ever have, to be honest. I love all their videos, I love their songs ... and "Cry" is no different.

From beginning to end, this was a beautiful music video. The choreography was excellent (of course, because Rain choreographed it), the song is so depressingly beautiful and their vocals deliver that heartache and longing to your ears. To have that ability, to make someone feel your pain through your voice ... that's such an amazing gift.

It seems like the general consensus of this MV is that it's perfect except for the make-up. And I have to throw in the clothes into the bonfire too. We all know that MBLAQ hasn't had the nicest of stylists in the past. Sometimes they hit it dead on and get gold stars all across the board. Other times they fall really, really, insanely short.

Thunder ... he's kind of all over the place. Hair, ehhh not really the best color on him, but it's been much worse so he is improving. And he should have ditched those necklaces because they just look so odd with that type of jacket. Eye make-up to that degree is never acceptable.

Oh, my precious SeungHo. Sweetheart, please please please get rid of that orange hair. It's not sexy on you, not at all. Go back to brown, or red, or HEY! Even black! Go au naturale, pretty please. Other than that, you kind of have it right with the clothes, but whatever that necklace/belt chain thing is just provokes confusion and takes us away from your face and your lips.

I laughed when the camera first focused on G.O. Poor guy has his bangs all in his eyes and he reminded me of one of those furry, mop-looking dogs that can't ever see because their hair grows down in front of their eyes. I mean, not one stylist could have been like "Hey, let's just trim this about 1/4 of an inch"? You can't even see his eye make-up (which is a good thing, but still), except for a few little sparkles peeking through.

Cute little Mir is all grown up and better than ever. I never feel a disappointment with him, he seems to always be able to pull off certain things better than the others. Though he can't pull off the eye make-up. I repeat, eye make-up to that degree is never acceptable.

And I much as I love this man (and if you've been reading this blog long enough, you know I LOVE him), Joon just ... oh, no honey. No, no, no. There's just too much going on here.

I will say, the hair color looks fantastic. Definitely a keeper, please don't ever change it (though I know you will). And of course, his hotness factor is always present. Even if you put a paper bag over his head, you would still know he's hot. But those gloves? No, they aren't really doing it for me. He looks like he just came back from his shift at the wharf unloading fish from the boats. I don't want to think of smelly, dead fish when I look at you, Joon. The necklace is unnecessary.

You're a man wearing a suit. Honey, you don't need a necklace.

EYE MAKE-UP TO THIS DEGREE IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE. I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE. I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE RAIN, IF YOU'RE T.O.P, OR WHOEVER. 2PM DID IT WITH "I'LL BE BACK" AND THEY LOOKED RIDICULOUS. WHY WOULD YOU SUBJECT YOURSELVES TO THIS RIDICULE, MBLAQ?!

Please no more eye make-up! You don't need it to make you look better because you're already hot.

I Wanna Stand Under Young Sky's Umbrella-ella-ella

It's been music video release after release and I am loving all this fresh meat to gush over! The latest in hopping on the new MV train is One Way with their extremely overdue release of "Rainy Days." But I love them, and you love them, so that's why we waited so long, ever so patiently.

And it was kinda worth it. When I say "kinda," I mean "totally and completely."

I need to be hooked right from the beginning when it comes to watching a new video and Chance did not disappoint. I'm a sucker for a man sitting at a piano, singing his heart out. Flawless is the only way to accurately describe his singing, to describe him in general.

Oh, and really freaking gorgeous. That's another way to describe him.

This might sound a little odd, but I really want to see in black and white. I don't want to see in technicolor anymore, guys. I want to see everything as if it's from a 1950's sitcom. The reason for this is simple: Young Sky makes black and white look amazing. I want that amount of amazing in my life on a daily basis.

Then again, he looks ridiculously good in technicolor, so maybe I will settle for the real life Pleasantville experience. Start off black and white, then after a few make-out sessions in the back of a 1953 Henry J Corsair down by the lake with Sky, we'll be bursting at the seams with color!

Confession: The highlight of any One Way song for me is whenever Young Sky opens his mouth.

Chance, you must be reading this blog. You know I love some Chance-Junsu combo, so I thank you for giving me a nice little dose of the two of you. It is just what I needed to start 2011 off the correct way.

Now I have a few problems with this video. The first one being WHERE THE HELL IS PETER?! WHY IS HE LIKE THE EMO KID IN THE ROOM ALL BY HIMSELF, AWAY FROM THE OTHER KIDS?? WHAT THE HELL, HE ONLY SINGS ONE PART?! ONE FREAKING PART?!

PETER, PETER BABY WHERE WERE YOU? WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST PUSH JUNSU OUT OF THAT CHAIR AND SAY "THIS IS MY GROUP, YOU DOUCHE"?! WHY DIDN'T YOU SCREAM "THIS IS MY CHORUS"?! WHY WERE YOU HIDING FROM ME??

I guess there have been rumors on other blogs (never this one because we don't gossip here!) that our perpetual man-child Peter has gained some weight and that's why he wasn't in the video as much. All I can say to Peter is that if my cookies had anything to do with those alleged pounds, I am so sorry and please accept my effort in making it up to you by letting me be your work-out buddy. I'll meet you in your bedroom.

Another problem I have with the video ... no, with the song ... is that thing that Junsu does. You know what I'm talking about. He does it in every single 2PM song. That riff thing that ends up sounding more like someone is drowning a cat rather than actual singing. I'm sorry, but from 3:30 to 3:50 in "Rainy Days," that was completely unnecessary and it only detracted from the beauty of the song.

Chance's vocals weren't displayed nearly as much as they should have been, what they're capable of, and the same goes for Peter's vocals. I honestly think the song would have been better without Junsu because the three of them combined are ridiculously talented and really don't need to have another artist "featured" on one of their songs.

You can disagree, that's fine.

The Return of TVXQ ... or HoMin

In the past, TVXQ might not have been my absolute favorite out of all the idol groups, but I do have a sneaky little confession: I've always loved Yunho and Max. They were my favorites.

So it makes me really giddy to see this video with just the two of them. I know there is a lot of mixed feelings still involved with this group and its fandom ... but the heart wants what the heart wants. And mine wants some HoMin. (Please don't start commenting saying I'm awful. I already know that I am, but seeing it in print is a bit of a buzz kill).

I never realized how strong my love for fire was until this video. With prior videos, I've always said that starting the entire thing out with the idols drenched in rain (2PM "Without U," BIGBANG "Tell Me Goodbye") or in the shower (MBLAQ "Y") was the proper way to go and could, honestly, never fail.

Then Yunho pulls out the alley in the industrial park with flames going off everywhere at his command, and I'm hooked.

Fire is the new water.

I'm already hooked because of that, but then Max shows his beautiful face with my all-time-favorite, every-idol-should-have-it-because-it-is-amazing hairstyle and I realize that for the rest of this video, I don't even have a fighting chance. Because Yunho took that whip-slash-rope, made it into a lasso, and pulled me in.

I love this song. I love the beat, I love how catchy it is. I love how the words "keep your head dowwwwwwn" keep repeating over and over and over and OVER again in my head. The video was amazing (and dare I say, a hell of a lot better than JYJ's unfortunately and seriously bad video) and just perfection from beginning to end.

Oh, wait. I lied.

There was one itty, bitty little part that ruined everything. Easily forgivable just not quite forgettable. You know what I'm talking about.

These God awful, ridiculous, heinous, atrocious, eye sore to the extreme suits.

It's like they came to America, snuck onto a Native American reservation and stole all the quilts that the blind, elderly women of the tribe spent their entire life weaving, and they have the gnarled, arthritis fingers to prove it, and made those quilts into suits.

Shame on you, HoMin. For stealing the blind Native American ladies' quilts and for having bad fashion sense to think that those suits actually look good.

Shame on you, Yunho, for skinning a fox and wrapping its fur around your shoulders and thinking that it would improve the look of this disaster in fabric.

Shame on you, Max for going along with it and not speaking up. I can see the pain in your eyes because it matches the pain in mine. Literal eye pain.

Everything else is good. Clothes, check. Watch, ehhh I'll let it slide. But the hair? I'm just not digging the two little poofs on top. It's kind of like you wanted to pay twice the homage to Snooki but your hair is simply not long enough. You get it right later in the video, but this is just a no-no in my book.

I will admit, when T.O.P first dyed his hair, I hated it. I wasn't going to bitch about it like I normally do, because I know it's T.O.P and the man will surely change it soon. But now ... now I don't want it to go away. Because he looks absolutely amazing with it. Who the hell else could pull off white/silver old man hair? No one.

This girl must have sacrificed her whole city to the K-Pop Gods in order to earn the part of being able to stare directly into Sex God's eyes. Lucky bitch.

And I love this girl's face when she turns around and see T.O.P. My face would look a lot like that as well ... right before "passing out" in hopes that he would give me mouth-to-mouth in order to revive me. (Think: The Sandlot).

I realize this is sort of like a suicide mission in terms of requesting a brief interview with Jay, but it's a risk I'm willing to take. It's time we all moved on from that).

Camera Tricks

With the upcoming album release from F.Cuz (in a week, if you were wondering), we've been blessed with new photos of the guys to drool over and stare at.

They're all looking gorgeous as always (and they're all brunette, which I love), but I am a little disappointed in Kan's concept photo. It has nothing to do with him, but it has everything to do with the photographer or whoever posed him.

Do you see what looks like it's missing?

It looks like he has no belly button. And I know it's because the way his hips are placed and the odd angle his torso is turned. Still. It looks weird. It also makes him seem really petite and tiny. I'm not liking how they made him position his body like that. His hips face one way, his shoulders face another.

Just bizarre. And a little distracting.

Or maybe Kan doesn't have a belly button. Maybe he was literally put on Earth by the K-Pop Gods in order to test our faith in fangirlism.

U-Kiss Can Tell Me to Shut Up and I'll Obey

Where have I been? Well, school and lots of hours at work. That's probably why I missed the release of "Shut Up" a month ago. (I'm sorry, I suck, I know!). But now I'm here, and now it's time to give these men the proper little spazz fest they should have received last month.

I'm going to start this with a simple angry thought to the K-Pop Gods, for having the deepest voice in the group, the voice that stands out the most, the voice that sounds so sexy and makes me get little goose bumps all over ... belong to a sixteen-year-old.

I mean, really? How is that even remotely fair? A woman over the legal age limit cannot possibly enjoy it as much as she ought to. And to top it all off, you make Dongho sound so angry and you make him look so hot while he's giving that little sixteen-year-old angry face to the camera. Am I being punished for not blogging enough?

Moving on, U-Kiss has pretty much everything that makes a phenomenal K-Pop video.

Cervix Punchers -- Fifth Edition!

A year ago, we did this for the first time. Amazing how much time flies, right?

Admit it ... there is just one male idol, above all others, that just does something to you. He makes your ovaries twitch and ache and makes your uterus long for a tenant for forty weeks. It doesn't matter what he does. A new or old performance, a TV appearance, or even just looking at a damn picture sends you into a complete melt-down state of wanting to enter motherhood.

You know exactly who I'm talking about.

This isn't necessarily a category, it's more like bragging rights. Only the top five will be posted on the right sidebar, like the holy list of men you want to have lots of unprotected sex with.

We have some new rules this time around, so pay attention!

1. No more than six idols can be voted for. If you list ten, only the first six will be counted. Six is more than plenty!
2. When you go to list your idol, state his stage name and group name. Because there's more than just one "Junsu" and sometimes I'm not totally 100% sure of what an idol's real name is, so this will make it easier for me, okay?
3. Only vote for an idol one time. Don't repeat an idol's name six times, because I'm only going to count them once.
4. They must be over the age of 18, so still no Taemin or DongHo or anyone else under the age of 18.
5. Don't count the votes ahead of time, please! I tried doing it a secret way before, but not enough people participated by just emailing their choices to me. If you count before, then you're taking the fun out of everything. Just be patient!

Ayy No ...

I heard JYJ's new song with Kanye West a few weeks ago when Louise from billboard.com sent me the article about the boys and their new attempts to break into the Western music market. And I really like the song. So much that I was going to write this long lengthy post about how I was going to give the three former DBSK members a shot and quite possibly begin obsessing over them on the blog (something I know you all have been waiting for).

But then ... I saw the video.

And oh, Lord ... a monkey wrench was flung into the mix and now everything is so ... oh, man.

First off, let me just say that this is 2010. The technology available to us now is amazing, and since this is a South Korean idol group, and let's face it, Korean technology kicks American technology's ass in terms of awesome factor ... I really do expect a high quality music video, complete with awesome effects. If you're going to stand in front of a green screen and have the entire background computer generated, it better be like Avatar standards, okay?

But no ... we get this instead.

Something that looks as tacky and cheesy and Super Junior's "Marry U" video. Not hating on Super Junior in any way, shape, or form, but even for a video made in 2007 it was lacking in the wow-what-awesome-CG factor. And one would think three years later, that maybe we could just get past the fuzzy, lowest-of-the-low quality videos and produce something ... I don't know, awesome?

And was it just me or did anyone else find this video i-n-c-r-e-d-i-b-l-y s-l-o-w? I don't remember the song being that slow when I listened to it, but seeing it with the video and the WTF choreography that felt more like K-Pop Choreo 101 rather than professionals who have been around forever. It was boring and I swear it looked like they were counting. You can see on their faces that they're counting the steps.

Now here comes my bread and butter ... what in the hell were they wearing? What the fuck is that, Jaejoong?

I want to shoot whoever did this to Micky's hair. I'm a proud supporter of a strict anti-curl movement, and these are like the worst kinds of curls you can imagine. Because they aren't soft and bouncy. I might be able to accept soft and bouncy little ringlets on top of his head.

But it's more like he didn't have time to blow dry or straighten his hair, so now he's left with these waves that just look plain ridiculous. (Also, maybe I'm going through a BIGBANG withdrawl, but am I the only one who sees GD in this frame?)

One Way Project Is Complete!

I kind of channeled Martha Stewart on this project, but the results were amazing so I could really careless if an "Anonymous" person starts commenting about how it's lame.

Anyway, I posted a few weeks ago that I wanted to do this and not many people responded with an interest to help out. I even said on Twitter that if anyone donated, I would list your name and Twitter name so the boys would know it was from you as well. Major, major, major, MAJOR thanks to @QueenNeesee for going half with me on shipping! You're awesome!

A more detailed explanation on how to do this process can be found here, so if you'd like to do it for yourself or for the upcoming holiday season, definitely check it out. It's relatively simple, just time consuming.

I started off with a metal tin purchased from Michael's (or any craft store).

Then I lightly sanded it with some sandpaper. If you're using a cookie tin that has decorations on it, you have to sand the crap out of it. But since this was just plain old metal, I only had to do it enough to take the "shine" off.

Then I painted it black.

On white cardstock, I printed out a one way street sign, measured it to fit the lid, and glued it using Mod Podge, then covered the whole tin in the Mod Podge to seal the paint and to prevent it from chipping (and it makes it look all nice and shiney).

As for the cookies ... that was actually the hard part. I had it mind to make these awesome vegan chocolate chip cookies for Young Sky. I tracked down the vegan butter substitute (hard to find) and bought some non-dairy chocolate chips (if you're wondering, Ghiradelli makes non-dairy chocolate chips, so those are vegan). But then I messed up and grabbed the wrong egg "substitute." I thought it was what I needed, but I didn't see the words "egg product" on the carton until I had already poured in one egg. Fantastic.

I'm not stupid, though. In my defense those letters were really tiny.

End result, I still have some pretty awesome chocolate chip cookies made with soy butter. And you can't even taste the difference.

So I put Sky's cookies on hold and made Chance and Peter's chocolate sugar cookies, sandwiched together with melted Cadbury chocolate in the middle. Even with the chocolate overload, those are easily in the top ten best things I've ever tasted.

Saturday morning, I had to get up early and do a take two on Sky's cookies and mail these babies out before the post office closed. Went to the grocery store, got the right kind of egg substitute I needed, drove home, got two blocks away before realizing ... I forgot the chocolate chips.

Which is why Sky will be receiving vegan sugar cookies rolled in cinnamon and sugar. And they're yummy (I had to try one, because what if it was bad and I sent it out?). I put all the cookies in ziploc bags to keep them fresh.

And then the final project, with cookies inside:

I included a note to One Way as well, telling them that even though we have sent gifts to other idols before, that nothing handmade/painted has come from myself and my blog readers. I even wrote (the 2PM boxers were a big hit). So imagine if Chance gets to talk with Junsu about these awesome cookies a fan sent (what if Junsu eats one?!) and hey, she also gave him some boxers before? What's that about?

I think I'm on my way to becoming a K-Pop male idol household name. Hey, as long as they love me and don't fear me, I'm good.

The Chicken Addiction ...

I wasn't planning on taking this approach with Onew, because it's been done before, but finding my Chick-fil-a giftcard with a balance left on it has made me really hungry.

Onew is one of those oddly beautiful people, that I have mixed feelings for. One moment I want to pinch those clear-as-all-hell cheeks and tell him he's so cute, the next I want to feed him endless amounts of chicken and just watch and even dab his mouth when the grease starts to build up, and then the next I just find him so irresistable.

Every morning I will make him chicken and waffles. For lunch, I will force feed him a chicken strip salad (because if he were to just eat nothing but fried chicken all the time, poor guy will get fat and then none of the noonas would want him). For dinner, chicken, chicken, and more chicken. Nothing but chicken from morning to night. And after dinner, I will just have to help him burn off all those fatty calories he earned during the day.

I think the only way to cure Onew's chicken addiction is if you give him a pet chicken and have him care for it, and clean it, and feed it, and nurture it. And within a few weeks, he will start to look at chicken and feel guilty (kind of like how I do when I eat king crab legs knowing a man probably died so I could stuff my face with warm, buttery, sweet crab meat).

And it will be a sad day in our household when I come home and find that Onew's beloved pet, Colonel Foghorn, is no where to be found, and the smell of fried chicken is lingering in the air.

Mini Project for One Way!

I'm devising a mini-project for One Way that I will complete probably in the next two weeks or so, but I need your help!

If you've seen my tweets, you know I can bake. But I'm not just going to bake them cookies [from scratch] and send them in a freaking Tupperware container. So I'm pulling out my crafting skills and I will be restyling a cookie tin to personalize it for the One Way boys.

I've made some before, a few months back. These were plain tins from the craft store, added some paint, some designed card stock, and some sealer and there you go ...

But my idea for One Way is to get a large one (kind of like the circular one on the left) and paint it black, print out a one way street sign on some white card stock, adhere it to the top, and there you freaking go ... personalized just for our Twitter-addicts!

Here's my dilemma when it comes to the actual cookies ... Young Sky is vegan. I've never made vegan anything before. I'm really scared they're going to taste awful because I've never made them. So, it's a risk on my part, but I also have absolutely no idea what kind of cookies to make him! This is where I need your help. If you have any vegan recipes (there's bound to be at least one vegan following me) please email them to me ASAP!

I also don't really know what to make for Chance and Peter ... but I'm going to be safe and make chocolate chip cookies. Unless you happen to know their favorites, in which case, let me know! I was thinking of making some ANZAC biscuits for Peter to give him a little taste of Australia, but I couldn't find a recipe that was consistent.

Funding for this project is minimal, but if you'd like to make a small donation for shipping or you have any other ideas that we can also include, let me know! These tins are actually a lot of hard work and baking those vegan cookies will definitely be a pain in my ass, but I want to keep this really small and nothing big.

I've been waiting for the weather to get a bit cooler so the cookies will handle better during shipping, so the deadline for any donations or ideas will be November 1st. I want to have everything shipped out by the 6th.

SHINee Says "Hello" to Leopard Print

It was like a rainbow overload of leopard print. Really, did you notice just how much of it was incorporated into their wardrobe?

Jonghyun is wearing both leopard print pants and a sweater, and Onew has on pants and a matching tie. Key was wearing red leopard pants with a red shirt, which oddly resembled footie pajamas minus the butt flap in the back. I think Minho was the only one who was not wearing it, but he was also in dark colors so it was hard to tell.

It doesn't stop there, even when they change outfits, Key sticks to what works.

But at least Jonghyun looks sexy.

And of course, Minho never fails. Never ever.

The blog is one year old today! Isn't that exciting? I know you're thrilled, who the hell wouldn't be? This is quite the long post, and even though I'm sick and feeling like garbage today and should be in bed sleeping this off, I just had to get on here and write this for you all.

First thing's first ...

Back in April, I created a list of goals that I wanted to achieve by this date. Only two goals were met (I suck).

1. 6,000 followers on Twitter did not happen. Five months ago I had a little over 2,000 followers, and now I have barely over 3,000. It took me seven months to gain 2,000, and only five months to gain 1,000 more. That's an accomplishment, so even though my goal wasn't met, I accomplished something.

2. 2,000 posts ... PSH! I knew from the get-go this ambitious goal was going to fail, and it did. Standing count (including this post) is 566.

3. However, I did have an idol tweet to me. Peter finally put aside his hatred for me and responded. (Kidding, he doesn't really hate me). You can relive that moment by clicking this link.

4. But no idol has tweeted to me about the blog yet. Partly my fault, because I haven't sent any of them links. BUT, they do know I exist. And that's the important part.

5. And 2PM received some lovely TKPA boxers with the site URL on them. You can relive that moment by clicking this link and then watching the video of Chansung holding Junho's boxers. Simply amazing!

I want to take moment to get all sentimental and thank all of you.

When I started this blog, it was because I was bored and had a lot of free time on my hands. I know it sounds cliche to say I never expected anyone to read it or for it to become as big as it has, but it's the truth. I truly never thought this blog would gain such a following, that I would become friends with people from all over the world. I never expected to have such an influence and such support.

We have done a lot of things together. T.O.P's birthday trending topic was a success. G-Dragon's solo concert trending topic was a success. Throwing boxers to 2PM was a success. Helping out for Super Junior's 4jib album was a success. Giving BIGBANG anniversary gifts was a major success. And most recently sending the petition to SBS was a success. Although we don't know the results of that, and I am not sure what the future brings with that situation, the fact that all fans from all fandoms put aside their biases for two minutes to spread the word and at least try to change the situation at hand, speaks volumes. The entire K-Pop fandom is one big family. Although we might not all get along nor support each other all the time, when it truly counts and matters, we're there for one another.

I have met some really awesome people over the past year, people I have connected with and became very good friends with. Of course, I've met a lot of people who have also disliked me, but I still want to thank them for at least coming onto the blog to read it before deciding they didn't like me.

So here is a little list of people that stick out in my brain among others. Remember, I love every single person who follows me on Twitter, comes onto the blog, reads the blog, leaves comments, email me, etc ... You're all so important to me and I greatly appreciate all of the love and support you give me. Just there are some people who have been there from the very beginning, and I need to give them the proper credit they deserve.

The K-Pop Junkie (@koreanpopjunkie), you've been MIA from the blog and my life because we've both been so busy. But you're the greatest friend I could ever ask for and I miss you a lot. We need to fix this current situation, so if you see me calling you, answer the phone! :)

CJ (@cjcdae), you and I quickly became friends and not only talked about K-Pop, but our "real life" situations as well. You really did help me a lot with an issue I had been dealing with, accepting me into the club. You have absolutely no idea what your friendship means to me and I will be forever grateful to you for all the things you've done for me. There is a reason you're my #1 Personal Blogstalker. I really have no idea what this blog would be like without your perversion influencing mine.

Mas (@Bunniness), you are the first person who ever contacted me on MSN messenger, I remember. And you're also one of the very first people to comment on everything that I posted. I miss talking to you and I hope everything is well in your life.

Jenny (@jennykoi_) Thank you for all of the emails and support you've given me over the past year. You are such a sweet, caring person, and I promise you when I come to the Philippines, I will be crashing at your place and I can annoy you in real life rather than through the internet.

Arick (@F2Arick) Not many guys would support their girlfriends in writing dirty about other men, but you always tell me you're so proud at everything I do on this blog and you encourage me to write more. Inati ... You Have Competition

Because now I have seen Day Day's abs and only one word comes to mind:

However, as much as I want to marvel in awe over this picture, and possibly adjust the brightness on my computer screen so I can actually see the abs in the semi-dark bathroom, I need to draw attention to the fact that he's in the bathroom.

And there's a camera in the bathroom.

And you can see the toilet to the left of the picture. Meaning, when the members of Dalmatian use the bathroom, they're being filmed.

Um, South Korea ... isn't that like ... illegal?

I'm sorry, Day Day. You can flex those muscles all you want, but your moment was ruined by the completely creepy, voyeuristic factor surrounding these photos. Men's Health Did It Again

Am I really seeing this? Is this happening or am I just hallucinating and imagining Jokwon in these pictures? Because for people (like myself) who do not find him sexy and appealing on a daily basis, this photoshoot with Men's Health is a total mindfuck.

And here's the real kicker ...

He's not even shirtless. He's completely clothed. The boy makes clothes look sexy. I mean really, I don't think many other idols can be featured in Men's Health covering up practically all of the good, drool-worthy stuff, and not have us say, "I wish he was shirtless." While Jokwon being shirtless would have just catapulted these pictures into I-need-him-now and resulted in South Korea's tourism to boost, it wasn't necessary.

A man in a suit ... always a very, very, extremely nice sight for the eyes. And the way he still has his bitchface in full swing while taking off that tie ... it makes me forget that he's the size of a toothpick. Toothpicks are now sexy.

I just can't get over the fact that this is JO-FREAKING-KWON. Why can't all of the evil cows take a note from the all-knowing-in-what-fan-girls-want stylists at Men's Health? This is what all of the idols should look like on a regular basis. All the time, 24/7.

They know what they're doing. Look, they even put a pair of handcuffs on him, but left one vacant. So the race of who is going to get to him the fastest and handcuff him to their wrist is on, but please don't kill each other or rip out any hair or break a nail, okay? You have to look decent for Jokwon, because no matter how manly and sexy he looks, he will totally judge you on what you're wearing and the biggest diva in all of South Korea cannot be hanfcuffed to a hot mess.

It just won't happen.

I just had an amazing night with #2 Tae Baby. First we had a well balanced low fat healthy meal (of course with a blessing to God before consuming the vittles). Then we would sit in front of the fire listening to old school R&B music as he sings & slowly grinds to each song for me.

DAMN my head is spinning, I look around the room & my framed pic of Dae Baby is looking back at me. Awww my Dae Baby smiling at me with pink cotton candy in his arms. My Dae Baby is so sweet. OH NO I can feel Dae slipping away, I can barely see him now - his image is fading into the mist of cotton candy......DAMN TAE FEELS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!

Then all the sudden BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The door busts open & there is My Dae Baby!

WAIT WTF! THAT IS MY DAE BABY???!!!!!!!!

Tight ass black pants! One leather glove (that I know will feel amazing when he lightly slaps it against me)! Some rhinestone studded arm ummm thingy - what the fuck ever - but it's fucking sexy!

WHERE THE FUCK IS THE COTTON CANDY? COTTON CANDY IS GONE!

STANDING BEFORE ME IS MY DAE BABY ALL RIPPED & OILED UP!

BREATHING HEAVY AS IF HE RAN MILES TO GET TO ME!

Tae steps back just as confused as I am...."what the hell" he says in adorable Engrish.

Dae doesn't say a word he just steps up to me & slowly pulls something from behind his back. OMG!! I am so mesmerized I cant move I cant think, I cant even breathe!

He slowly moves the object to his face & places on a mask. I cant even put into words this mask...all I know is I am about to FUCKING MELT ON THE SPOT!!

With mask in place Dae finally breaks his steady lock on my eyes & looks directly at Tae.

In a quiet yet strong deep voice he utters 2 words to Tae................"Get Out"

OH FUCK that's it! My knees are about to buckle under me as wave after wave of ecstasy travels through my body.

(Damn some people claim to be had at "hello" well I was fucking had at "Get Out.")

I slowly turn to Tae & said "ummm well bye. I will call you later."

With that Tae Baby gathers up his R&B cd's & with the quickness heads to the door. He turns back one last time as he watches Dae approach me. From behind Dae I hear Tae's soft voice yell out "Call Me!" as he shuts the door.

Dae pulls me closer to him & looks down at me & whispers, "You're not calling anybody tonight except my name over & over again." "Now tell me....who is your #1??"

"DAE BABY, DAE BABY" I scream!

**By the way, needless to say, I did not call Tae that night....but the next night....well......BAHAHAHAHA!!

The only way this picture would reach a level of amazingness is if they were both shirtless. I wouldn't question why the two of them are working in the studio shirtless. Hey, whatever gets the creativity juices flowing! With that in mind, has Chance ever flashed us those beauties before? I don't think so ... that's something he needs to work on. I think we'd all like to see some of that, right? I know I sure would.

But this is just lovely, with two of my bbs sitting there, deep in concentration.

I have to draw attention to Junsu's fingers. Look at how long and slender they are. I wonder what I would have to do to make him play the piano on me BIGBANG-style. What do you think? Is he more of a "thigh player" or a "torso player" or maybe a "back player"? Maybe a good combination of all three? Hell, I will paint keys on my body and just lie there completely still while he plays Mozart on me.

He could use this as a reward method. When he comes home from work and there's the most delicious dinner waiting for him on the table, piano time. When I don't go over our credit card limit and receive a gigantic bill in the mail, piano time. Oh, he'll train me to be a Stepford Wife very quickly.

Eli: Would you like to be my lab partner when we dissect frogs? Frogs are my favorite amphibians. I love playing with them and catching them. I just caught one in the pond behind the school, and it made me late to class so I put him in my backpack and ran all the way here. I didn't even have enough time to wash my hands, but I guess they're okay. Not too smelly ... would you like a piece of gum?
